A workshop by Bridgestone expressly for mine and quarry management, tire program managers, service techs and procurement of Off the Road equipment and tires.

• Interpreting Sidewall information, identifying TRA codes and special compound codes
• Best Practices for Road Conditions and Work Areas, using virtual reality to identify hazards
• Tire Maintenance and Pre-Shift Walk Arounds, through industry best practices
Off-the-road (OTR) End User training is held in the Bloomington, IL. OTR Plant and Training Center. This workshop is designed to educate production, maintenance and management personnel, the benefits of doing business with Bridgestone, its programs, processes and small to medium OTR tire products. The class is designed to select the proper tire, conduct preventive maintenance through best practices, minimize downtime, reduce tire costs, and improve your bottom line. Lastly, we will see and properly identify out of service conditions normally found in the off the road industry.
SCHEDULE: This is a full two day workshop beginning on day one at 8:00 am, and will end at 4:00 pm on day two.
ARRIVAL TIME: We suggest you arrive in Bloomington / Normal, IL anytime that is convenient for you on the night before class.
DEPARTURE TIME: Please schedule your departure from Bloomington after 5:00 pm on day two.
ATTIRE: The attire for this workshop is business casual. For our plant tour, plant rules require that you wear steel-toed shoes during the plant tour. If you have them, please bring them, OR we have some steel clacker toe guards available. Plant rules also specify that no tennis, athletic, open-toe or high-heel shoes or sandals can be worn while on the tour.
TRANSPORTATION: We will provide transportation to and from the preferred hotel to the training center each day and for our evening dinner. Please meet us in the lobby of the preferred hotel at 7:30 am each morning for transportation.
MEALS: Bridgestone is honored to offer a buffet type lunch each day with a nice group dinner the first evening of class. Coffee breaks / snacks are also provided each day during class. Breakfast is also included.
COSTS: There is no cost to attend this workshop; however, each individual will be responsible for paying for their own transportation and lodging.
